CNN IReport - Best Music 2008
(0 comments)

The best music that I have heard in 2008 would probably have to be Country! Keith Urban is without a doubt the best country artist of 2008! His songs are addicting, and they often tell about what is going on in our lives! His songs are anywhere from love (Once In A Lifetime), relationships (Tonight I Wanna Cry), and his passion for music (God's Been Good To Me.) Other country artist such as, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Keith Anderson, and Rascal Flatts are wonderful to listen to as well!

CNN IReport - Eat Less for 2009
(0 comments)

I love eating and I admit that I am eating a little too much because of the availability of good food. I am thankful to my fast metabolism that I did not grow bigger that fast in spite of the food I take in. The food I eat are of different kinds but most of the time, these are the oily ones and full of cholesterol which brings me near potential heart sickness. For 2009, I will do my best to eat less. I will only not push myself away from potential heart related sickness but I will also be able to watch my weight better as I am currently heavier than I normally am.

CNN IReport - Holiday Themepark
(0 comments)

Christmas is the time when Filipinos go out and enjoy the festive mood of the holidays. One of the popular destinations here in Manila would be Star City. It's a theme park with a lot of rides, games and attractions both indoor and outdoor. This is a very seasonal theme park since it is only open during the holiday season. There are activities for kids and adults. Rides come in all shapes and sizes so regardless of your height or age, there will be a ride waiting for you whether it is a death defying ride or a small roller coaster. Walking attractions are also available where one will walk into a themed area such as a horror house, snow land or time travel. There are a lot of game booths where in upon winning you will get to take home large stuffed toys. There is also a 'tiangge' or a fleece market area. There is also a wall climbing area to test your climbing skills and a shooting game to test your sniper abilities. Families will definitely spend hours on end when going to this place as this place will not fall short of activities. Merry Christmas everyone!

CNN IReport - Perfect
(0 comments)

President Obama has unveiled his National Security team! On pace to be the fastest to ever assemble a cabinet. I love his picks, Robert Gates is a bit of a surprise but hey what can you do. I think that this diplomatic team of Obama's will change things for the better. Hillary Clinton has the qualifications to be the secretary of state due to her involvement in domestic and foreign policies. From being on the senate armed services committe, to fighting for middle class tax cuts, universal healthcare, and raising the minnimum wage so that Struggling Americans can climb out of poverty into comftorable conditions of living. These things are what Americans are yearning for and I think with the position of Secretary of State she can better help President Obama achieve greatness in the white house. The pick of cheif of staff Mr. Rahm Emanuel is very liberal in his views while Robert Gates and Bill Richardson are more moderate to conservative. While Robert Gates is still a conservative I believe that he is proven himself qualified and that his support and desire to keep his job qoute," I'm impressed with President Obama" will establish new boundries for both parties. Bill Richardson already has previous experience with the Clinton administration being the energy secretary, as well as his willingness to have government involvment in aiding business. This is good because alternative energy and ailing businesses are a big part of Obama's agenda. This is better for our country because the one thing we've been lacking is unity, if they show that they can balance the cabinet then imagine what it can do for us as a United States of America! I believe they will succeed in their agenda and in the end we will be a stronger, budget balanced, diplomatic nation. I actually think it may be better to not be completely liberal even though I am a liberal...What do you think? Here is a link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rK_DAESomTQ

CNN IReport - Georgia still RED :)

Today I took a moment of my time to do my civic duty and vote for Saxby Chambliss. As a strong political minded college kid, I share many political views with my father who is a Georgia business man in the failing carpet industry in North Georgia. I believe that he will help get the industry back on track by tax cuts and I can't wait to see the carpet industry boom again. Saxby is the man to represent Georgia in the Senate, because no liberal against guns should. Thank you Saxby for serving Georgia for as long as you have.

CNN IReport - Striving for at least a little balance
(0 comments)

I've tended to lean conservative most of my voting life, even having voted for Bush twice. But this past November, for the first time ever, I voted a protest vote - Libertarian - because I felt like the country did, in fact, need a substantial change in policy and direction, but Obama wasn't the right answer. Now we faced a truly one-party rule. Something that no nation needs. I felt compelled to vote for Chambliss only to provide some tiny semblance of balance in the Senate so that the Pelosis and Clintons and Obamas wouldn't run the country uncontested and unaccounted for during the next four years. There HAS to be some sort of balance to represent the entire population, not just the liberal interests.
